Peer-reviewed quality
Drug Discovery Today is a fully peer-reviewed and well respected
magazine, now published for over 11 years. It is not a
features or product review vehicle. All of our published reviews
have been commissioned by the magazine’s editors, or from
suggestions supplied by our excellent editorial advisory board.
The authors we commission to write these articles are
recognized experts in their respective fields, and are selected
from both industry and academia. The quality of their
submissions can be gauged by the year-on-year increase in
impact factor, to its current value of 7.152*. Our peer-review
process ensures the consistency of quality of our articles,
involving assessment by at least two other leading experts, in
addition to in-house review.
Responsive
Every year we listen to feedback from our advisory editorial
board, our authors, readers and advertisers, and produce a
magazine that better fits their requirements, and the needs of
the industry. In the last few years we have made many changes
to the magazine, starting in 2005 when we merged
Drug Discovery Today:Targets and Drug Discovery Today:
Biosilico into the current format of Drug Discovery Today.
Growing readership
As part of our ongoing development, in 2007 we launched the
Drug Discovery Today digital edition, with the same high quality
content as the print edition, but with added functionality for
online readers.We do not just work hard to ensure that our
content is exceptional, we also invest to make sure it is
accessible to the drug discovery professionals you most need to
influence.
For 2008, the print circulation of Drug Discovery Today is
being supplemented with bonus distribution at over 15 key
events. We are pleased to announce the addition of several
Keystone events to our 2008 bonus distribution calendar.
Our editorial calendar
Each issue of Drug Discovery Today offers our readers
a diverse and up-to-the-minute mix of topics, and we have
identified significant articles based around technology applications.
The calendar at the back of this brochure features the
list of print and digital magazine issues, plus our Editor’s Choice
e-newsletter.
