World-leading cancer research organisation signs multi-year deal with Dotmatics to transform research informatics and collaborations across multiple sites and partners

Dotmatics Limited, a leading provider of scientific informatics solutions and services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, announced that The Institute of Cancer Research, London, has licensed and deployed the Dotmatics informatics platform.

Over one hundred scientists at The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) are currently utilising Browser, for data querying and reporting, and Gateway, as their central document management solution. The ICR is using Dotmatics solutions across two internal sites and with external collaborators throughout the UK and Europe.

“Dotmatics allows whole project teams to access all our up-to-date project data in a single place, in an easily searchable format,” said Professor Julian Blagg, Head of Chemistry and Deputy Director of the Division of Cancer Therapeutics at The Institute of Cancer Research. “Dotmatics has brought us significant speed of access, a quality of decision making and greater volume of quality idea generation. We would not operate as effectively without such a system” he added.

“We are delighted that such a prestigious cancer research organisation has expanded their use of our solutions” said Dr. Stephen Gallagher, CEO of Dotmatics. “Having worked with The Institute of Cancer Research since 2008 we look forward to continuing to develop our solutions together, ensuring that their ever-changing informatics needs are fulfilled.”
